James Smith was killed at Wiggenhall St Germans on the rail line between King’s Lynn and Ely at around 12.50pm on April 24.

Mr Smith, who had previously been known as James Phillip Bishop before he changed his name by deed poll, was hit at a crossing by a train travelling from King’s Lynn to London King’s Cross.

A local that lived nearby said he heard a “loud bang” and “took cover” believing that overhead wires above the track had come down.........
