Man who owned Italian restaurant in Norfolk accused of gun atrocity terror plot
Tunisian national Walid Saadaoui, 38, is said to have wanted to cause "untold harm" and kill as many Jewish people as he could in a gun atrocity.
The married father-of-two bought the Albatross, an Italian eatery in Regent Road, Great Yarmouth, in 2018 with the help of a bank loan.
He denies preparing acts of terrorism between December 2023 and May last year.
Giving evidence on Tuesday at Preston Crown Court, Saadaoui told jurors how he came to the UK in 2012 with his first wife, Jane, whom he met in Tunisia, where he worked as a hotel entertainer helping to stage dance shows, quiz contests and water aerobics.
He said he successfully applied for a work........
