The WH Smith shop in Mere Street, Diss, shut for good on Saturday, April 19.

Paul Scripps was there during the store's last hours before its closure at noon and spoke with staff member Sam Compton during her final shift.

Locals praised the workers as "always cheerful and always happy to help".
