Drama in the reptile house
Police were called to Johnson’s of Old Hurst zoo in Huntingdon at 1.24pm on Thursday, after reports of the toddler in the reptile pen.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were sent to the zoo, and the boy was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer vehicle and Magpas Air Ambulance attended the scene.
