1) Go-ahead for town's first padel court on estate 'half a mile' away from homes

A town is set to get its first padel court in a vacant unit on an industrial estate.

West Norfolk Council has agreed plans to change the use of the property on the Downham Market Trade Park.

The town council said it would be "a good asset" for the town and a good use of a vacant building.

Nobody objected to the proposals for the new court on St John's Way, in the middle unit of a building planning papers said had stood empty since it was built in 2023.

The site is almost half a mile from any homes.

A bid to install new equipment on a building at the University of East Anglia to improve mobile phone signal has been given the green light.

A 5G mobile base station is to be put on the roof of UEA's library as plans have been approved by........
