Aurora, a three-year-old snow leopard at Banham Zoo, has successfully undergone a cataract operation.

The procedure took place at the end of November after the zoo's veterinary team confirmed the animal had a mature cataract in her right eye, meaning it is slowly becoming opaque.

Aurora is recovering well following the surgery........
