Work is due to start to surface dress sections of the A149 Morston Road in Stiffkey between A149 Church Street and A149 The Street.

To allow work to proceed safely and quickly, the road will be closed to through traffic on several dates during surface dressing, line painting and cat's eye renewal.

The road will be closed for stud removal between 7pm on Tuesday to 5am on Wednesday.

It will then be from 9am to 4pm on May 5 for main dressing.

Lining and road stud replacement will close the road between 7pm on May 18 and 5am on May 19.

Diversion routes will be signposted throughout the duration of the works, which are expected to cost around £25,000.

The project will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's Infrastructure Department, in conjunction with its contractor Keir Highway Services.
