Officers were called at 1.30am on Tuesday to reports of an incident in Reepham Road, where an attempt had been made to either break into or steal a cash machine.

Detectives believe the suspects, who entered the building from the back, used a stolen Nissan Juke.

This was later found abandoned nearby.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses to the incident and are asking motorists with dashcams who were driving in the area to come forward.

They are also urging people with doorbell cameras to review any footage for any material that may help the investigation.
