The space in Magpie Road, near The Artichoke pub, is fenced off with wooden railings, however locals say it has recently turned into a "sea of mud" due to drivers illegally parking there.

It's drawn the ire of people living nearby who want the council to kick motorists - who they claim are using it for free parking - out so it can be used as intended.
