Horsford Primary School, in Holt Road, cut the ribbon for its Rainbow Reflection Garden on Thursday with pupils and financial backers attending.

After raising a total of £6,319 the school was able to install the new tables, turf and planters to create a restful new pupil area and commemorate loved ones who have died.

The space is dedicated to the memory of Amber Sheehy, who attended the school between 2018 to 2023 but tragically died on January 14, 2023 - aged just eight - from a medulloblastoma brain tumour.

There was a ribbon cutting ceremony........
