Norfolk Constabulary received three reports of these incidents in Dersingham, Snettisham and Castle Rising in west Norfolk on Tuesday.

The potential victims were all telephoned by people claiming to be from the police and asking for banking information.

A Norfolk police spokeswoman said: "Luckily, all three knew that it was likely to be scam.
