At around 3pm on May 8, the Great Yarmouth and Gorleston Lifeboat team was called to Breydon Water following reports of a stranded vessel.

A coolant hose had come loose, causing the boat to drift out of the channel and become stuck on the mud.

One of the occupants had already tried to free the boat by entering the water, but was unsuccessful.
