5 reasons to visit this hidden gem on the Norfolk coast

With a population of just 2,758 people, it is far quainter than the nearby towns of North Walsham and Cromer, but this does not mean it is lacking in things to see, do and explore.

Here are five reasons why it is well worth a visit.

Mundesley's history is long and rich and is well worth diving into.

The parish was recorded as Muleslai in the Domesday Book of 1086, when the main landholder was the Norman nobleman William de Warenne.

In the late 19th century, Norfolk started to be promoted as a top tourist spot dubbed Poppyland.
