Among these are hundreds of new homes set to replace a shopping centre and the revamp of Norwich Market.

Here are three of the biggest planning schemes to look out for next year.

ANGLIA SQUARE

Construction of 1,100 new homes, including at least 50pc affordable homes will begin in spring 2026 on the former Anglia Square site.

The demolition of the former shopping centre began in November and is expected to take about six months to complete.
