Steve James and Helen Stephenson, owners of Pips restaurant in St Augustine's Street, are hosting a pop-up on December 7 with acclaimed London chef, Whyte Rushen, at the fore.

Mr Rushen has held sell-out pop-ups across the globe, including Barcelona, Florida, New York and Mexico City.

After closing his restaurant in Hackney earlier this year, he took his business on the road.

Mr James said: “This is big news for the Norwich food scene.

“We’re buzzing.

“We've been admirers of Whyte's since the early days.
