Mark Womersley says for years he has been a regular at the LCR on the University of East Anglia campus, but has recently been made to feel like a “second-class citizen”.

The furious 58-year-old says that he is now being forced into a specific disabled area for which there are limited tickets, and cannot attend gigs without a personal assistant (PA).

When trying to get tickets to see the Last Dinner Party, who performed on November 25, the box office staff said he must sit in this area “due to health and safety reasons”.

He said: “Nothing has changed over the years.

“I understand we must have a PA to facilitate our needs.........
