City Hall's clock has taken an unscheduled break and its gold-coloured hands are currently stuck reading 7:30.

Despite the council having spent £10,000 on fixing the clock tower in the last five years, this will be the sixth time, since 2020, that an error has occurred.

Mr Moore, a local, said: “I was confused when I saw the clock had malfunctioned.

“I get the 9.30am bus into the city.........
