Visiting the new Paddington Bear statue in the grounds of Norwich Cathedral has proven a popular activity for many this half-term with crowds gathering in The Close.

Barriers have been placed along the walkway to manage the volume of people visiting the statue and one city mum said she waited with her children for around half an hour to meet the bear.
