Glen and Jonny Carr, the father and son duo that ran Bedfords Bar in the Norwich Lanes, have announced that the site is no longer serving customers.

In an update posted to the website, the pair said: "With a mix of gratitude and nostalgia, we write to share some important news. After 12 incredible years, we have made the difficult decision to close this chapter of our journey.

"This decision was not made lightly, as each day spent serving you has been a true honour and privilege. Drinking habits have changed dramatically, costs have increased exponentially and the viability of running Bedfords Bar has all but disappeared.
