Award-winning fish and chip shop in north Norfolk launches new menu
No1 Cromer has marked its 13th anniversary with the launch of a new upstairs dining offering, created through a collaboration between owner Spencer Gray, head chef Neil Lloyd and Galton Blackiston.
The new menu introduces a fresh dining experience focused on "seasonal ingredients, bold flavours and a strong emphasis on seafood".

Guests can enjoy a variety of tapas-style dishes, an oyster selection, creative starters and new main courses.
The restaurant also continues to serve its signature classics, including cod, haddock and plaice.
"We’re incredibly lucky to be right on the north Norfolk coast," Mr Gray said.
"Whenever we can, we love using local seafood such as Cromer crab and lobster.

"Being able to bring seafood straight from the sea into our restaurant is something really special.
“We’ve worked on this menu for a long time and we’re really proud of it.
"Neil, Galton and I have collaborated closely to create something exciting with some unique flavours while keeping everything seasonal and focused on great seafood."

The launch comes after the business was recognised as one of the Top Five Fish and Chip Restaurants in the UK at the National Fish & Chip Awards.
"We took everyone up to London to celebrate together and it meant a lot to be recognised nationally," Mr Gray said.
"It’s a real credit to the hard work and dedication of our staff."

The changes come at a time when the seafood industry is facing increasing challenges.
"Fish prices have gone up significantly and supplies of some species, particularly cod, have become more limited," Mr Gray added.
"That’s why we’re working more with alternative and sustainable fish, while still serving the classics our customers know and love."
