Travellers allowed to stay at site for nine months despite eviction
The Planning Inspectorate has upheld an enforcement notice issued by Breckland Council ordering the removal of the caravans in Billingford, near Bawdeswell.
The Clapham family, who live on the site at the end of Festival Road, had implored the government agency to overturn the decision and warned it would leave them homeless.
However, the inspector reviewing the case said the potential harm of the development to its surrounding environment was too significant to overlook.
