Neighbours object to plans for wine tasting in 'peaceful' village
Simon Cruickshank, who runs Sveinns winery in Swainsthorpe, has applied to South Norfolk Council for an alcohol licence.
There will be a hearing today to determine whether the business, which hopes to expand with a new shop on the site, can sell drinks into the evening.
However, the proposals have been met with objections from locals who fear the venue will be disruptive to their "peaceful" village life.
