Former pub clad in scaffolding for four years deterring museum visitors
Thetford's Ancient House Museum said the former King's Head pub in White Hart Street was deterring visitors, who mistakenly thought both venues were shut.
Speaking at a recent meeting of Breckland Council's museums committee, Oliver Bone, curator at the museum, said the development next door remained at a "standstill".
He said scaffolding and corrugated iron had been holding the building up for four and a half years and workmen had left the site despite plans being approved to convert it into a housing development.........
