The concerns have emerged after Roarr! dinosaur adventure park secured retrospective planning permission from Broadland Council for two rides that opened in 2023.

These include a mechanical swing, called the Swing-O-Saurus, and a hang-glider-style pedalling ride, called the Raptor Contraptor, which were constructed without the necessary permissions.

Locals urged the council to refuse the application, describing it as "underhanded", and expressed their annoyance at the failure of the park to follow expected procedures.
