Decision on controversial piano bar in city church postponed amid fierce opposition
Norwich City Council's licensing committee met this week to discuss the proposals for St Michael at Plea church in Redwell Street.
The application for the premises seeks permission to serve alcohol and play music into the early hours of the morning.
Neighbours living near the church have objected to the plans due to concerns about noisy customers and the late opening of the venue.
However, they will need to wait another week for a verdict, after a last-minute document was received by the council addressing the potential noise impact of the proposals.........
