Norfolk prison recruits Pagan chaplain (but insists they can't get naked)
HMP Norwich is advertising for the part-time role at the category B prison, which holds adult male offenders.
The post would be based at the prison’s main reception on Knox Road and forms part of the establishment’s multi-faith chaplaincy team.

It comes at a time when overcrowding and strained Ministry of Justice (MOJ) budgets are coming into question.
Many prisons are operating near or above capacity, which has seen the enforcement of emergency measures such as early prisoner releases and the use of police cells for accommodation.
According to the job description, the successful candidate will “provide faith-based and pastoral care to prisoners and staff” while also supporting individuals of other faiths, or none.
