The body parts of Pawel Martyniak - who was last seen leaving his home in Gorleston in November 2021 after assaulting his mother and sister - were both found in March 2023.

One was discovered at Winterton, with the other 500 miles away on the coast of Sweden.

An inquest into his death, held at Norfolk Coroner's Court this week, was told the feet had been identified as belonging to the 21-year-old former Notre Dame High School pupil following DNA checks.

The court was told the first macabre discovery was made on March 2, 2023, when the right foot, in a sock and black Adidas trainer, was found in Sweden.

Three weeks later, on March 21, a dog walker at Winterton found the left foot, also still in a sock and black trainer,........
