The body of Miles Franklin, a printer engineer, was discovered on November 18 last year at his home on Theobald Road.

Norfolk Coroner’s Court was told Mr Franklin’s sister had gone to check on him that morning after he did not answer his phone.

She was unable to get inside his home and found that the back door had been screwed shut.

Miss Franklin called 999 and police officers were able to force entry inside, where Mr Franklin’s body was discovered.

The court was told his medical cause of death was bronchopneumonia.
