Investigation opens into death of man exposed to asbestos

David Culley, of Church Street, Sheringham, died at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital on August 14 last year.

An inquest into the 77-year-old's death recently opened at Norfolk Coroner’s Court heard the retired drain servicer died from bronchopneumonia.

Two contributing conditions were listed as asbestos-related fibrosis and ischemic heart disease.

A full inquest is due to take place at the court on March 13.
