Craig Secker, 42, died at the Weybourne Beach Car Park in north Norfolk on January 9, 2022.

An inquest at Norfolk Coroners' Court heard how the businessman had been found by members of the public that morning.

Good Samaritans attempted to revive him by carrying out CPR before paramedics and officers from Norfolk Police arrived.

Around an hour after the discovery, Mr Secker was declared dead at the scene.

Recording a conclusion of suicide, area coroner Johanna Thompson confirmed the medical cause of his death as methadone toxicity.

Earlier this year it was heard in court that Mr Secker’s death had sparked a domestic abuse probe.
