Dan Leathers, of Lingwood, near Norwich, was just 20 when he was involved in a devastating road traffic collision on the A47, just a few miles from his home.

Earlier that day, Dan had been at work with his father, Jeremy.

Normally they would travel home together, but Dan, who was working towards an apprenticeship, had been at college that morning so arrived in his own vehicle.

They set off separately, with Dan telling his dad he would be just five minutes behind him.

Dan never made it home.

During that short journey, he was involved in a serious accident and sustained catastrophic injuries, including a significant head injury.

Within minutes, the Anglia One crew from East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), based in Norwich, arrived at the scene.........
