92-year-old donates £20k to Norfolk hospital in memory of his 'wonderful' wife

His thoughtfulness is the fulfilment of a long-held dream, one rooted in a deep appreciation for the care his wife received from both the QEH and the NHS.

He said: “Tess was a wonderful woman.

"She was strong-willed, she never moaned and never put herself first. She supported me every step of the way even though she lived with a painful and debilitating condition.”

She endured numerous hospital visits over the years, including for three hip replacement operations and two knee replacements.

But her condition never dampened her spirit or her........
