Revealed: Which Norfolk schools were most oversubscribed
Notre Dame High School in Norwich, the region's main Catholic school, received 284 bids for places in September 2025 but was only able to offer 204.
It meant that 28pc of applications for the school were unsuccessful - the highest of any secondary school in the county.
The school was one of just three at secondary level which had to turn away more than 20pc of applications.
