Nurse who claimed he could 'turn' gay colleague is struck off
Axl Redwine, who worked at Norwich's Julian Hospital, has been struck from the nursing register following an investigation into his behaviour.
A Nursing and Midwifery Council misconduct panel ruled that the former charge nurse for the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) - which runs mental health services - had made a number of inappropriate remarks.
It said he had "deep-seated attitudinal issues" and had exhibited "unwanted behaviour and sexual harassment" which had created an "intimidating" work environment.
He told one female co-worker who rejected his romantic advances that she did so "because she only liked black men".
