City College Norwich has contacted prospective students hoping to join one of its electrical courses in September, informing them that it will not be able to go ahead.

This has left students with conditional offers to spend the summer scrambling for alternative options for the new academic year.

Bosses at the college blame the decision on a struggle to recruit workers to help run the course.
