Anger as axe set to fall on three mental health courses at UEA
The UEA has confirmed it will be making cuts to a trio of courses at the site, which train up NHS psychologists.
The cuts - to the high intensity therapy, psychological wellbeing practitioner and clinical associates in psychology Masters apprenticeship programmes - will see the equivalent of 10.9 full time jobs axed.
The university said the cuts had been sparked by changes within the NHS, including the restructuring of NHS England and a reduction in employment opportunities in the organisation.
