But the "Garvestone gobblers" are a determined lot and have broken free once more despite the new security measures.

Those living along Town Lane in Garvestone near Dereham have been subject to a number of visits from escaping pigs who rootled their way through their gardens and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.

But even after the farmer who owns the swine installed an electric fence to keep them inside, some of the scheming pigs have managed to escape.
