Council responds to calls for traffic calming measures in city suburb
Norfolk County Council said the addition of double yellow lines and speed bumps has to pass through legal processes first, which it says are "lengthy and costly".
Their response comes after calls from neighbours living on Hercules Road near the Whiffler in Hellesdon for traffic calming measures to prevent "someone getting killed".
Others have also called for double yellow lines to help stop drivers who visit the pub from parking on the corners of junctions near the site.
One neighbour, Ashley Lamb, recently had a van crash into his wall, also said there have been several instances........
