'Don't condemn me to a life alone' - Fears over centre cuts raised
That is the impassioned plea from Dereham woman Lee Cook in response to threats of funding cuts to a "lifeline" service.
Those who regularly visit Dereham Meeting Point have spoken out against Norfolk County Council's decision to bring its funding method under review.
The service has been providing those who are disabled and over 55 with a place to meet and socialise for nearly 40 years.

The charity relies on the council's £30,000 subsidy, which amounts to 35pc of its annual income.
Although the council is yet to make a decision, the review has left many people feeling "terrified" for the future of their beloved service.
Lee Cook has been visiting the centre for more than a year after she was invited to join it by a man she met at a bus stop.
