Donna Holland, a grandmother and former HGV driver, has won a battle against the owners of Kingfisher Holiday Park in Burgh Castle after she discovered faults with her brand-new static caravan.

The 56-year-old, who is originally from Essex, had moved to Norfolk in 2022.

But her hopes for a peaceful retirement near the coast were dashed when she soon found herself battling for a refund after the new home proved to be riddled with issues.

She first intended to buy a Rivington model caravan - but raised concerns after noticing damage to the patio doors.

The park then offered her a Pemberton Abingdon - described as the “Rolls Royce of caravans” - which she agreed to purchase for £70,500.
