Mary Carberry wants to demolish the property at number 17 Northgate Street in Great Yarmouth.

This follows a huge blaze at the site in June last year which saw firefighters rescue one man and 10 dogs who were trapped in a flat.

She had originally applied to Great Yarmouth Borough Council in July last year - but has now appealed to the planning inspectorate as Town Hall did not make a decision in the statutory time limit.
