Flagship Homes is seeking planning permission from North Norfolk District Council to build 26 homes on land off Catfield Road in Ludham.

The developer said the scheme would provide "much-needed" affordable housing alongside new public green space for existing and future residents.

But Natural England has warned that the proposed development "has the potential to have a harmful effect" on Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) and internationally protected nature conservation sites in the Broads.
