Julie Bacon has been running The Cricketers on the Green in Aldborough, a village in north Norfolk, since buying the pub in early November.

But she said that BT has left her in limbo after she agreed to switch the service to digital. The company has yet to provide a date to install the new connection.

Ms Bacon said: "We’ve had customers trying to call and book a table, but they can’t.
