The investigation began after a person went to an address in the town and handed over £300 in fake notes in exchange for a PlayStation.

Police later released an image of a man who may have information that could help their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact officers on 101 or via the force's website quoting the reference 36/92352/25.
