Plans revealed for BILLION pound hospital on coast
The James Paget University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has lodged papers with Great Yarmouth Borough Council for their proposal to build a state-of-the-art facility west of the current hospital in Gorleston.
Health bosses say the new building would increase capacity and meet growing demand.
The new hospital would see bed numbers rise from 550 to 630, as well as the creation of two multi-storey car parks - with up to 10 levels each - providing 2,000 spaces, an increase of 400.
