The German supermarket chain launched its new branch on Thamesfield Way this morning (November 27).

The opening began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring mayor of the borough Carl Annison.

The new store is replacing the seaside town's previous branch on Pasteur Road, which closed for good on November 26.
