Neo-Nazi music festival cancelled after backlash from locals
Norfolk Police said they have spoken with the organisers of the far right gig, which was to take place on September 6 and 7, and confirmed the event will not now take place.
There wear fears that the 'Resurrection 4' concert - which would have been "the UK's biggest white power event in 10 years" - could have sparked unrest in the town if it went ahead.
The two-day festival was due to take place on the same day as Yarmouth Pride and also would have come at a time of heightened tensions - and acute pressure on policing resources - caused by ongoing protests in the county about asylum seekers.
