The suspects caused almost £12,000 of damage at the Minster Church of St Nicholas in Great Yarmouth, which is believed to be the largest parish church in England.

It is already the fourth in a devastating series of criminal incidents suffered by the Grade II listed building over the past 12 months.

The church was previously broken into on three occasions, with thieves taking money from the donation box and also damaging property.
