Time is quickly running out for the 11 timber-built chalets - a mixture of permanent homes, holiday lets and derelict properties at The Marrams - after they were assessed by Great Yarmouth Borough Council as being at imminent risk of collapse.

The authority has confirmed that the houses, which are within about five metres of the cliff edge, can only be demolished during certain windows of time.

One of those intervals begins on Monday, December 15.
