David John Hampshire, of Pickering in North Yorkshire, was jailed last week for sexually abusing two young children.

The 84-year-old was sentenced to 22 years and eight months in prison and put on the sex offenders register for life.

It is believed that he worked at Caister High School for a number of years.

He reportedly lived in Ormesby St Margaret at the time and was well known within the local Anglican Church community.
